Wedding Flowers: Modern Yellow and Orange Designs at Sequoia in Washington, D.C.
If your bride’s favorite flower is that yummy rustic bloom called the sunflower, yet she wants a modern affair at a rocking DC restaurant, you know you have your work cut out for you to blend that type of contrast. But everything came together so perfectly! The addition of garden roses, ranunculus, and callas helped to steer her bouquet in wonderfully happy direction that was just to bold and fantastic for words. Her complimentary tone for the day was teal which was brought in subtly by the linen wizards of Events in the City through the gorgeous table linens as well as the tone of the plate glass down the length of the head table centerpiece “cityscape.” Such fun creating these modern centerpieces and the room looked amazing!
