2019 Team Training Day 2: Speed and Crisis Management
After Lauren made a sample tall piece, the whole crew buckled down to try and speed create a tall centerpiece in under 20 minutes! Everyone did a great job! THEN after lunch we cruised into CRISIS DISASTER TRAINING! There is almost always SOMETHING that goes wrong on a wedding day, even if it’s something very very small and easy to solve, but it’s super important for our team to feel prepared and ready to tackle anything that’s thrown their way on the wedding day. So we threw around tall pieces, had them fix bouquets on the fly, talked through falling arches, missing items, and all kinds of crisis management that has probably happened at least once to our team in the last 9 years. We learn from every mistake and come more and more prepared to every event, but even still, we want our team to feel confident in coming up with quick solutions to every problem, knowing that making our couple’s happy is a number on priority on the wedding day!
