The Foraged Collective, A Recap

The Foraged Collective is the brain child of the incredible person, floral designer, and business owner Toni, of Roadside Blooms. She hosts this incredible workshop every couple of years, bringing out one or two designers to teach over the course of a few days. We got to be one such design team and we spent several days this past August in Charleston, South Carolina working with an amazing group of designers talking through all things installation!

We did presentations, we did demos, we did hands on learning, and group projects! We had talks on business and working with planners, photographing your own work, the ins and out of running a flower farm, and more! There was a ton of hard work that went into putting this event together and it was all made possible by the following people:

Toni of Roadside Blooms, Luke Wilson Events, Kim Branagan Photography, Pajarosa Flower Farm, CamFlor Inc, East Texas Smilax, Alaska Peony Cooperative, The Restoration Hotel, The Gadsden House, Slow Flowers, Event Works, Luxe B Pampas Grass, Up Do’s for I Do’s, Maddison Row, and Boho and Bows.

Enjoy a few favorite images from Kim of us speaking, of student work, some favorite head shots of students, of the final project finished look, and more!
