Twas the last day of interning, and all through the studio, not a creature was stirring…. except for our warehouse mouse. –– Fun times had by all on our last wedding week of 2019. Celebrating a successful close of our Fall 2019 internship session. How does 10 weeks fly by so fast? Having Nikki and Anna with us these past few months has been a special time and we can’t to have them back in the future for more fun!
But most importantly, we are grateful for this incredible spread by one of our favorite catering teams in the DC area! Occasions Caterers. They got us all set up with incredible Thanksgiving foods and treats ranging the entire food spectrum so there were plenty of options for those of us who Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Nut free and more! You can browse their incredible menu here and place orders with them for Thanksgiving pickup! What a dream to have your whole menu taking care of, or even to supplement your house favorites with new things, or to bring a few dishes to a friend’s or family members to REALLY impress. We basically drooled over this entire menu. The whole team raved over our maple pumpkin pie (veg, nf) and the chocolate almond toffee (veg, gf). The traditional stuffing (nf) and the cranberry and blood orange relish (vgn, veg, gf, nf) were personal favorites.
You can place orders until November 21, 2019 via email (thanksgiving@occasionscaterers.com) or by phone (202) 546-7400. and there are several pickup times available on Wednesday, November 27th from their location at 655 Taylor Street NE. Everything comes with assembly and re-heating instructions (very minimal and easy to follow whether it’s adding a dressing, or popping into the oven for 30 minutes). You can even upgrade all your food options to come in real dishes and then return the china later on! So many perfect options to simplify yet upscale your Thanksgiving day and leave more time for drinks and family and fun!
