Weddings may be looking a bit different these days, but they are no less meaningful. Exchanging vows on your own or with your very nearest and dearest is an incredibly special moment, and we want to be there for it! We are so very excited to introduce a new collection of flower packages from us here at Sweet Root specifically meant for creating gorgeous intimate weddings!

Inlight of all the recent uncertainty, are you considering having a Microwedding, Minimony (what’s that??), or just eloping? We have put together a way for you to have a stunning small ceremony in style with no hassle (and contactless delivery!).

Our typical floral services have ranged from full service to a la carte in the past, but these new intimate wedding packages are the perfect in between! Just the right happy medium of personalized attention to your flowers with the ease of “pick and go”! Our designs are versatile for an array of locations and sure to make a stunning impact in your photos.

So how does it work?

STEP ONE: Choose your collection! 

Each collection includes two personal flower items of your choice (bouquet, boutonniere, crown). Let us know what combo you’d like us to create for your collection!

STEP TWO: Choose your color palette! 

We have four palettes currently available (white, burgundy & blush, warm peaches, moody jewel tones). We will design your pieces with premium seasonal blooms in the palette you choose. The ingredients will be selected out of what is available in the market – designer’s choice. However, if you have a favorite seasonal flower, let us know and we’ll try our best to incorporate it!

STEP THREE: Delivery Details! 

We deliver in a 2-hour window, so let us know that ideal timeframe on your wedding day. Please include any specific details we may need to know, especially if you have chosen a collection with a floral arch installation (will it be on grass? a stone path? etc)

STEP FOUR: Finalize! 

Once you have made your selections, we will send you a contract and payment link to complete online!

DELIVERY AND CARE

Delivery on your wedding day to one location within 60 miles of Alexandria, VA is included. With the exception of arbors, which will require onsite designing, all other items will be dropped off with no setup included. We recommend keeping your flowers in a cool area away from direct sunlight or open fruit/vegetables. Keep them in water or original packaging as long as possible. We can help suggest an ideal delivery time based on your day’s timeline in order for flowers to remain fresh.

CUSTOMIZATION

We are unable to accomodate customizations to our collections, however we welcome any style notes and pictures of your favorite arrangements and bouquets. We can do our best to incorporate these things, but cannot guarantee any specific blooms or styles based on those requests. If you are looking for full service floral design, those services begin at $10,000, or you can check out our a la carte options at Simply Sweet Root.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• All orders must be placed 15 days in advance of event date. 
• Cancellations must be received no less than 30 days prior to event date.
• No refunds are available within 30 days of the event.
• Refunds issued prior to 30 days will be subject to a $50 administrative fee.
• Additions must be made no later than 7 days before the event.
• Payments are made via e-check (ACH bank transfer) via a link we provide you. Credit Cards are also accepted, but have a 4% processing fee. No cash or checks are accepted during Covid restrictions.
• All deliveries include one location of drop-off only service. Additional locations will incur additional fees.
• Sweet Root Village is not responsible for unpacking or setting up any items unless otherwise specified.
• Due to handling products of nature, Sweet Root Village reserves the right to make last minute changes to flower and vase selections in the event when the selections are either unavailable or do not meet quality expectations. Client understands that there is no absolute guarantee of flowers meeting exact expectations due to nature and the artistic interpretation of the designer.
• Sweet Root Village is not responsible for the condition of flowers after delivery is completed. Care instructions will be provided and should be followed to keep blooms in excellent condition.
