Oh what a JOY it was to gather with our local community in a safe and responsible way. We had several goals for this pop-up market. Provide a safe space to gather and see people we love and miss, support local businesses, and support a local cause.
We set up shop with our friends Grateful Gardeners, Emily Baird Design, Tried and Truhn, The Pen and Piper, Laura Hooper Calligraphy, and La Coop Coffee all to showcase our art and to raise some funds and collect some goods for our communities local food bank Food for Others.
We gave Daylen the task of dreaming up a fun wall installation that guests could photograph and pose with to inspire for Hunger Action Month. And with heaps of canned goods used as part of the installation, we were then able to kick off our event with a solid collection for donation!
We are already planning our next gathering for a good cause and we hope you’ll come visit for the next one!
