The Village Pop-Up Market: Spooky Season

Oh what a JOY it was to gather with our local community in a safe and responsible way. We had several goals for this second installation of our pop-up market. Provide a safe space to gather and see people we love and miss, support local businesses, and support a local cause.

We set up shop with our friends Grateful GardenersLaura Hooper CalligraphyLa Coop Coffee, Buttercream Bakeshop, Amy Nicole Floral, Something Vintage, Meg Biram Studios, and Victory Masks DC all to showcase our art and to raise some funds for a local non-profit that we love and support: Safe Shores.

Safe Shores is the DC Children’s Advocacy Center, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting child victims of sexual and physical abuse in DC.

We built a spooky photo booth installation in honor of the season for friends to interact with and pose with. Complete with fog machine! What a blast! We are already planning our next gathering (probably the last one this year) and we hope you’ll join us for the fun and festivities!
