Together we have created a recording of our in depth, acclaimed workshop that teaches our approach to running a profitable floral wedding and event business and foundational techniques and principles to achieve that “fine art” loose and airy style of floral design.
The format is split evenly discussing profitable business practices taught by Sweet Root Village and foundational design principles of foam free centerpieces and artful bouquets taught by Amy Nicole Floral.

This virtual workshop includes the main recorded lectures from our in-person workshops. Learn the ins and outs of how we price flowers, rentals, and hard goods for profitability. How we structure delivery costs, labor, how we manage staffing and growth, and more! Learn the principles behind the design work you love, demystify the loose and airy look you want to be making, and pack your brain with floral concepts, color theory, and all that design goodness!
This series of videos is also a little different than a traditional e-course… instead, you’re going to be sitting in on our workshop lessons that were filmed in the Sweet Root Village Studio in Alexandria, Virginia. We know some of the videos may be long, so if you dive in, you should definitely pause here and there to grab a snack and come back to them, but we recommend that you dedicate larger chunks of time to the course so you can absorb the content together. And take lots of notes!!
This virtual experience is very different from our in-person workshop – but even still, the lecture recordings here are packed with value! We have one more in-person workshop this year that also includes topics such as floral care and handling, personalized website reviews with Rosewater Studio, hands on designing practice and personalized critique, professional images of your work, large amounts of open Q&A time, direct access to educators, and demo style installation work with both Sweet Root Village AND amazing foam free mechanics with Amy Nicole Floral.
